What's Your Interest???

Hello everyone. Peace be upon you all.

Let's talk about interest. Not that interest in finance but interest as in things that you like.

Things that is dear to your heart. 

As for me, I'm into investment and a bit of business. 

So far, I have had only a year of experience in investment, mainly in the stock market.

The first question is, how did I first start this not-so-youth kind of thing? 

It all boil down to a sunny day a few years ago when I was accompanying my cousin who was looking for a house to buy.

She just started working with a startup pay that was considerably high for a fresh graduate like her.

We went to look for houses in Denai Alam, Selangor. 

To cut a long story short, I was shocked to the max when she couldn't afford any of the houses. 

I thoughts those houses were pretty reasonable and her salary was ok and she should be able to afford it.

But it didn't turn out that way. 

This event came knocking at my heart and stimulated my brain to think, "if during that time, fresh grads couldn't already afford to buy a house even if they were to take loan(because they are not eligible for loans, I thought what will the situation be like when I step out of university in 2016…."

I monologued, "I can't wait until I finish studying to generate wealth, or else it will take me forever to afford my own house and etc….I have to do something NOW!!" So, GAME ON!! 

Tick tock! Tick tock! Make the most out of your time

That's how I started to delve into investment.

I promised to myself, I want to exit, if not avoid, the 'rat race' sooner rather than later in my life.

My aspiration? Mr. Abdul Rahman ibn 'Auf, one of the richest companions of our beloved prohet Muhammad p.b.u.h. 

I shall not write too long, simple and precise(hopefully), that's my way.

Do make du'a for me so that Allah ease my way towards becoming a modern Abdul Rahman 'Auf.
